EBC is a chruch for all ages to grow in faith
Whether you are looking for a place for your toddler to be cared for so you can learn from God’s Word undistracted or an opportunity for your teenager to get connected, EBC is a church for all ages in Kings Mountain. No matter what stage or situation of life you are in, we have a place for you to come and grow!
All services at Emmanuel can be interpreted for individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
INFANTS AND PRESCHOOL
We love children at Emmanuel Baptist Church! We make sure your little ones are safe and well-cared for while they are with us. Everyone who serves in children’s ministry undergoes background checks prior to serving your family, and there are always at least 2 adults in the room to provide plenty of supervision, engagement, and accountability. You can be assured that we do our best to protect the children entrusted to our care.
Nursery and Preschool class are available at every service. Greeters at the door will be happy to direct you to class locations.
NURSERY
Nursery is provided during all services for babies 0 to 24 months so parents can hear God’s Word undistrictated! The nursery is a safe place for babies to nap or play. In addition, a quiet room adjoins the nursery where moms are welcome to privately care for their infants as needed.
PRESCHOOL
Pre-school classes are available during every service for children 2 to 5 years old. Children play, sing, listen to Bible stories, and enjoy child-friendly activities to help them understand that they are loved by the God who created them.
EBC KIDS
Kids in 1st – 6th grade are curious and eager to learn. Jesus said, “Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” This command directs our philosophy for kids ministry. We make sure there is always something to point kids’ minds and hearts to Jesus.
Everyone who teaches or helps in any of our kid’s classes undergoes background checks prior to serving your family. Each class has at least 2 adults to provide plenty of supervision, engagement, and accountability. We do our best to protect the children entrusted to our care.
In addition to weekly classes and club meetings, kids enjoy annual Vacation Bible School, an opportunity to attend summer camp, participation in Master Clubs Regional Competitions, and other fun events during the year.
EBC TEENS
The goal of EBC Teens is to kindle a love for God in teenagers and equip them to make an eternal impact on the world. Teens can expect to be included and welcomed. Teens are challenged to study God’s Word and grow strong in their faith through sermons and lessons at church and material for personal Bible study at home.
All youth staff undergo background checks, and there are at least 2 youth staff present at all meetings and events to provide supervision, engagement, and accountability.
- Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. – games, personal relationships, and a challenge from the Word of God.
- Sunday at 10:00 a.m. – practical Sunday School lesson from God’s Word.
- Additional teen events are planned throughout the year for fun, growth, and building solid relationships.

ADULTS
We have four adult Sunday School class options. Find the right class for you from the descriptions below, or visit us and see for yourself!
College & Career
Explore God’s Word for His purpose in our lives and through the church.
Led by Jeremiah Clark, this class is for single young adults attending college or beginning their careers. We seek to have fun while pursuing Christ together.
Homebuilders
Practical training on marital relationships, child-rearing, and other pertinent subjects for couples and families.
The class, taught by Steve Hefner, consists of newly married couples as well as couples with children from nursery-age through high school seniors.
Lesson discussions are interactive and helpful.
Ladies
Verse-by-verse Bible studies for women in every stage of life, from college students to grandmothers.
We desire to grow in faith by learning and understanding God’s word. Currently, we are studying I Peter.

Men
Interactive discussion through passages of Scripture for ‘iron to sharpen iron.’
This class for men college-age and older is taught by Phil Smith.
We are currently studying the lives of Jesus’ 12 disciples.
In addition to these classes, special events throughout the year allow us to build relationships within our church family, learn more about God’s Word, and focus attention on spiritual growth.
Events throughout the year give opportunities for all ages to grow in faith.
Emmanuel Baptist is a church for all ages in Kings mountian where the whole family can grow in faith and find community.
