Adult Ministries

At EBC, we have several Sunday School options for adults to choose from – Join us for Bible study and fellowship.

Our College and Career Class explores God’s Word for His purpose in our lives and through the church. Led by Jeremiah Clark, this class is for single young adults attending college or beginning their careers. We seek to have fun while pursuing Christ together.

The Homebuilder’s class, taught by Steve Hefner, offers practical training on marital relationships, child-rearing, and other pertinent subjects for couples and families.  The class consists of newly married couples as well as couples with children from nursery-age through high school seniors. Lesson discussions are interactive and helpful.

The Ladies’ class includes women from every stage of life and is taught by Amber Smith.  The class takes part in verse-by-verse Bible studies and is currently enjoying a series called Eight Psalms, Eight Characteristics of God.

In the Men’s class we believe that ‘iron sharpens iron’ so we engage in discussion and encourage interaction as we walk through passages of Scripture. We are currently studying the book of Nehemiah.  The class is taught by Phil Smith.

Ladies’ Ministry

God, with His amazing creativity, made women.  We come in all varieties, each one with our own part to play in God’s wonderful plan.  God used Abigail, Deborah, Ruth, Esther, Rahab, Lydia, Mary, and many more. Some were young, some old, some rich, some poor, some Godly, and some with a wicked past.  God is so good to take us where we are, draw us to Himself, and make us useful and valued.  You are important to God and to us.

The Ladies’ Ministry at EBC wants each woman who joins us to have a personal relationship with God and then grow in their Bible study, prayer life, outreach, thought life, victory over sin, and home and family relationships. We accomplish this through times of fellowship throughout the year that give us a chance to be together – learning to love and glorify God with our whole heart as well as love and minister to others. (Matthew 22:36-39)
